Thanks to funding from the Football Foundation we have been able to replace the 11 a side goals.
The goals complete a programme of improvements as part of the active tollerton project to make football available for all ages on the open space.
All the goals have nets fixed in place and can be used for fun, causal practice, or can be booked for organised training and matches.
The Opens Space can now offer
- 11 a side pitch with move-able goals or
- 9 a side pitch with move-able goals or
- 2 x 7 a side pitches with move-able goals.
- Flood lit MUGA for 5 a side, basketball and tennis
Along with picnic benches and a compost toilet the Active Tollerton project has made the Open Space a great place for sport. The project has also delivered major improvements to the play equipment, car parking and lighting over the years.
